Bio

let's see... i haven't taken a chemistry class since i was.... 14? is that right, over 14 years ago?! i am amazed at the amount of science that has suddenly pervaded my mind via my required classes for ACCHS. the good news is that the sense of fear and frustration that i would expect to come with my approach to all of this new "left-brained" information has taken a back seat. (now if i had to take calculus that might be a different story!) i actually feel very enticed and excited by the stretching i can feel my mind doing as i tune-in with open eyes and ears so as not to miss a tid-bit (i'm afraid if i fall off the track i won't know where to pick up again!) between anatomy/physiology, pathology, herbology(latin/pin yin), meridian theory and now chemistry i feel like i'm learning 5 different languages all at once! in a way, though, the more information that i get the stronger i feel as they begin to overlap, support, and enhance each other. so, in general, i'm feeling very open... kinda sloughing off a lot of my normal habits and dislikes and allowing a new world to unfold. it looks like this chemistry class has a cool edge on it and that we're going to get to see just how our world is affected by all of this science stuff and visa versa.
